This Month A Library Card Can Score You Free VGK Tickets
We all know reading is good for our minds. But now it could be good for your wallet too. At least if you’re a hockey fan. Because the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District is giving card holders the chance to win free tickets to an upcoming VGK game.
February is National Library Lovers’ Month
But this year the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District is also making it the month for hockey lovers. And the only thing you have to do to get into the drawing is have a library card. The number on your card is your entry ticket. And anyone who doesn’t have a library card can still sign up for one.
And if you haven’t been into a library in Las Vegas recently, you might not know how much there is in one of those buildings. They are far more than just books now. We’re talking recording studios, podcasting rooms, access to 3-D printers, live performances, yoga sessions, art exhibits and more. There’s also lots of opportunities for families with school-aged kids. Check out their tutoring services, homework help and STEAM workshops.
Las Vegas’s local libraries are also a great option for online and streaming services. Including learning tools, employment assistance, movie streaming and music streaming. It might be quicker to list what our local libraries DON’T have. Check out all the amazing services here.
How To Win Free VGK Tickets
If you already have a library card through the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District, you don’t have to do anything. You are already entered into the drawing. If you don’t have one, you can sign up at any of the 25 library locations in the Las Vegas Valley. Or you can sign up online at thelibrarydistrict.org.
And besides VGK tickets, Las Vegas residents with a library card are also qualified for other prizes. Including an exclusive VGK 2023 World Champions T-shirt. And don’t forget to stop into a library location to grab the two newest collector’s VGK bookmarks. The latest releases include Goaltender Logan Thompson and Defenseman Alec Martinez.
Our Las Vegas-Clark County Library District is award-winning. For a lot of good reasons. And with the free VGK tickets you could win this month, it’s the perfect time to go check one out. – Wendy Rush
