Las Vegas Family Could Be $1 Million Richer With Alien Footage

Back in April of this year, according 8 News Now Las Vegas, a family here in Las Vegas called 911 claiming that had aliens in their backyard. The story was well covered up because the public only caught word of it a month later. The thing that makes sighting different from others, there’s video footage. There was home security video footage as well as police body cam footage of the aliens. Well we hope this family is paying attention because they could possibly make some extra money with their possible alien footage. Do you have have possible footage?

Doorbell Footage Could Make You Rich

In this day and age, doorbell camera’s are a household must have, and Ring is the usually the brand everyone flocks to. The doorbell cameras don’t just let you see who’s at your door when it’s pressed. It also catches a lot of things you don’t expect. From mail deliveries, your nosey neighbor and/or random pets. But if it by chance catches video of an extraterrestrial being, you could be $1 million richer!

Alien Footage To Win Amazon Contest

Ring, owned by Amazon says you need “unaltered scientific evidence of a real extraterrestrial lifeform on their indoor or outdoor Ring device” to be considered to win. They’re looking for video of an alien, whether it’s flying, walking, or hovering on your property, according to CNET.

If you’re hoping to get in on this bounty, you’ll need to send in proof. All entries must be received by November 3rd, since this was created with Halloween in mind.

If you’re skeptical about aliens actually showing up to your home, but still want to win something? They have another way for you to win.

All you have to do is be as creative as you can. Dress up as an alien, use alien props, or whatever it is you feel will make your doorbell footage stand out. The Ring website states, “To enter, simply capture and submit your most creative interpretation of an extraterrestrial sighting on your Ring device, and you will be in the running among your earthling peers to win a $500 Amazon gift card.”

All alien-sighting videos will be looked at. They will judge you on how creative they are. More importantly, you’ll be judged on how well you use your Ring cameras to capture your creative ideas.

Nevadans Least Likely To Survive An Alien Invasion

Sadly, if there is an actual “alien invasion,” Nevada is NOT where you want to be.

The truth is, if there’s an alien invasion in America we’re probably ALL doomed. Unless Hollywood is right, and the aliens are more like Alf, E.T, and Roger from “American Dad.” But some of us may definitely be MORE out of luck than others, and will need to be able to run fast.

A study was conducted to determine which state’s citizens would be better off in an alien invasion, based on things like: Landscape and terrain, military defense, science and medical resources, and food and beverage manufacturing.

Best states to live in case of an alien invasion:

It is said that “Virginia is for lovers” – and it’s also the state that is best prepared to deal with an alien invasion, according to a study. In the end, Virginia had the best “alien survival score.”

Georgia was second, followed by Massachusetts, New York (New Yorkers don’t flinch at the prospect of aliens, or anything else threatening them!), Louisiana, Illinois, Maryland, Missouri, Alabama, and Wisconsin. (According to this, you don’t want to be anywhere near the west coast…)

Worst states to live in case of alien invasion:

The state where you have the LEAST chance of surviving an alien attack is: NEVADA!

That’s right, the state where a family just claimed to have seen a UFO fall from the sky, and odd creatures in their backyard – along with eyewitness accounts to back it up. The state where Area 51 has had it’s residence for decades. NEVADA! How could this be?

Nevada residents deal with aliens on a daily basis, in the form of tourists! People wearing “I’m with stupid” t-shirts, people who just STOP walking, for no reason, in the middle of a busy casino floor, and people who STAND on the moving walkway at the airport. It’s a MOVING walkway! You’re supposed to feel like a gazelle on that thing! But I digress.

The other cities you definitely want to avoid, of you want to survive the X files: Arizona is the second most doomed, followed by Wyoming, Idaho, Nebraska, Oregon, Montana, New Mexico, Main, and Utah.

Again – the west coast is DOOMED!
