Carrot Top Celebrates 19 Years At Luxor Hotel Casino Las Vegas

Carrot Top has become a must see show in Las Vegas. And now he is celebrating, yet another, milestone.

Carrot Top officially celebrates 19 years at the Luxor Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, on November 22, 2024. Carrot Top is the longest-running headlining comedian in Las Vegas.

Along with doing shows almost every night on the Las Vegas strip, Scott “Carrot Top” Thompson has been very busy this year. He has a staring appearance in the newly released documentary about the infamous watermelon smashing comedian, Gallagher. They definitely had a love-hate relationship, that Top talked extensively about on Neal Brennan's podcast.

For nearly four decades, Carrot Top has been entertaining audiences worldwide with his comedic brilliance, as King of Props! He smartly blends pop culture, music, and the day's headlines into an always evolving, extremely funny show. 

Rarely will you see the same show twice. He cleverly creates props that are relevant to whatever is current – from the news headlines to a particular song he may have heard.

From humble beginnings on the road, in the comedy clubs, to 31 appearances on "The Tonight Show," Carrot Top's journey has been quite extraordinary. When he started, he had two trunks and a strobe light. That evolved into 35 trunks of props, and a team touring the country in an 18-wheeler. His show is more like a comedic rock concert - lights, music, fog machines, and streamer cannons.

Carrot Top, has been voted Best Male Stand-Up Comedian, Best Comedian, and he is one of the most celebrated and successful comedians in decades.

His credits include hundreds of programs including Live with Kelly & Mark, The Dan Patrick Show, CBS Super Bowl LVIII Special, and Hacks.”  Podcasts like The Joe Rogan Experience, The Adam Corolla Show” and Really? No, Really, with Jason Alexander. Carrot Top also starred in his own movies “Chairman of the Board” and “Dennis the Menace Strikes Again.” And most recently, that new documenary about the comedic icon, Gallagher.

Carrot Top performs Monday through Saturday at 8 p.m. in the Atrium Showroom at Luxor Hotel and Casino. The show will be dark Nov 18 to Nov 23, but he'll be back on stage Nov 25, 2024.
