Hey Las Vegas, Hold On To Those Madonna Celebration Tour Tickets
Due to medical issues, Madonna has to postpone her upcoming Celebration World Tour. The tour was scheduled to land in Las Vegas in October. So what do local ticket-holders do now?
The announcement.
The information came via an Instagram post from Madonna’s manager. Guy Oseary released the statement, saying the “Material Girl” singer had contracted a “serious bacterial infection” on Saturday, June 24. Due to the infection, Madonna had to stay in the Intensive Care Unit for several days. Oseary continued to say she was expected to make a full recovery, but that she was still “under medical care”.
Advice for current Celebration Tour ticket holders.
In the same Instagram post, Guy Oseary stated that they would being pausing all current commitments of Madonna’s. But nothing mentioned about canceling. He also wrote that more details will be shared in the future about a new start date and “rescheduled” shows. So, it sounds like nothing will be called off. Merely pushed back until further notice.
For now, if you have tickets to one of Madonna’s Celebration World Tour shows here in Las Vegas, hold on to them. It sounds like those tickets should be honored at the shows when they are rescheduled for another date.
Upcoming Madonna shows in Las Vegas.
The shows affected by this announcement will be those in the upcoming Celebration World Tour. Which was supposed to kick of on July 15 in Vancouver, Canada. It’s not known if all shows will have to be postponed or just those in the first leg to allow Madonna to catch up. Three dates and locations are scheduled for here in Las Vegas:
T-Mobile Arena, Saturday, October 7 & Sunday, October 8, 2023
MGM Grand Garden Arena, Thursday, January 18, 2024
The Celebration World Tour is officially postponed until further notice. That’s all we have for now until a follow-up statement is made by Madonna.
