Nevada Health Centers’ Mammovan is hitting the streets in the fight against breast cancer. Their mobile screening clinic travels across the state of Nevada all year long. And for the next few weeks, the Mammovan is making stops throughout the Las Vegas Valley, offering convenient, and easy access to mammogram screenings to all women – regardless of their economic status.
They were one of the first federally funded Community Health Centers, that was authorized under the Public Health Services Act of 1976.
The Nevada Health Centers Mammovan accepts most major insurance plans, Medicaid and Medicare, and the cost of your screening may even be covered.
Women Are Not Exclusive To Breast Cancer
For women 40 and older, the short 20 minute screenings are critical in preventing breast cancer, since early detection is the best protection. It could truly save your life.
