Texas Road Rage Incident Leads To Spray Paint Fight
A road rage incident in Texas led to two men covered in paint, a hilarious mugshot and a broken window.
Road rage can be a funny thing to see and can escalate to a scary thing. Road rage can be something so small as cutting someone off to someone possibly losing their life. Then sometimes road rage incidents can be outright ridiculous. This story is one of those ridiculous situations.
What Happened?
Last Friday, stopped at a red light was a car. The driver at the light was obviously distracted. Leading up to the light, he was swerving in and out of his lane. Once he got to the light, it turned green and the driver didn’t budge. It took the person behind him to honk, letting him know to go, according to a post by Precinct 4 Constable’s Office. Well Davis Winston, the distracted driver was not happy that he was honked at. While driving, he was throwing objects out of his car at the person who honked at him.
Things Escalated Quickly
Both drivers were not having each others shenanigans. Davis was throwing objects and the victim was tired of those objects being thrown at his car, according to a post by Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4. Both drivers ended up pulling over on the side of the road. That’s when Winston got out of his car with a can of white spray paint. Winston sprayed the victims face with it! The two then got into a scuffle on the side of the rode. At one point, the victim in the road rage incident must have wrestled the spray paint can out of Davis’ hands, because when cops arrived to the scene, both men’s faces were covered in white spray paint!
Winston also broke the back window of the other man’s car. Truly, an unnecessary situation.
The officials took Winston into custody and booked him into the Harris County Jail. Davis Winston was charged with criminal mischief and hos bond was set at $1,500.
