Fans of the “How I Met Your Mother” series have wanted a reboot of the show for years. 3 attempts to have the show rebooted have been made but all to no avail. Well a 4th attempt was made by streaming giant Hulu and it’s a go! Will we see all of the original cast, no one knows for sure. They have confirmed one fact though and that is Hillary Duff will be starring in it.
A 10 episode order was placed by Hulu for a straight-to-series season. Will there be more after that? Probably will depend on how well this season goes. The showrunners for “This Is Us” and “Love, Victor”, Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger will be taking control and overseeing the new series. The original creators of How I Met Your Mother, Carter Bays and Craig Thomas will produce. Also Hillary Duff will also be given credit as a producer.
