Former Pats Running Back Calls Tom Brady Best Ever
You never know who to believe when it comes to this kind of stuff, but when your former running back calls Tom Brady the best ever, you have to believe it right?
The Mike & Carla Morning Show talked to Danny Woodhead, who spent a couple of seasons with the New England Patriots back in 2010, about his time with Tom Brady. Keep in mind he also played with the Chargers and the Ravens.
However, on Tuesday, December 10th, the National Football Foundation will induct 19 players and 3 coaches into the College Football Hall of Fame. And Woodhead is one of those players being inducted.
Tom Brady Called The Best Ever By Former Running Back
Woodhead played his college ball at Chadron State in Nebraska. Undrafted, he decided to give the NFL a shot and made the best of it.
Woodhead talked about his Super Bowl experience with the Pats. And with all the rings the team had won, the one SB he gets to go to and the Pats lose! But Danny admitted that it was the experience of a lifetime and wouldn’t change a thing.
In fact, winning it wouldn’t have change the person he is now or the life he has with his wife and kids. He offered a great perspective on the whole thing. Admitting that there are so many players in the NFL that never even get to the playoffs.
But when it came to talking about Tom Brady, Woodhead said that he is indeed the GOAT! How could he not be? And after being on the team with him, in the huddle and on the field, he went on to say that Brady was always in control.
Everyone on the team had nothing but the utmost respect for him and always knew if they were down, with the ball and only minutes to play, they could win the game.
Quite the endorsement from one player to another. So, take a couple of minutes and enjoy this great visit with a player from North Platte, Nebraska going into the College Football Hall of Fame!
