Cars all jammed up in a parking lot.

Carla Rea described the situation that took place in the parking lot at the local Trader Joe's. How she pulled up to a car that was getting ready to back out of a spot. Carla had her turn signal on indicating that she would be turning into that spot.
As the person pulled out, "WHOOSH", someone swoop, swoops into the spot nearly clipping Carla's car. Not to be intimidated, Carla approached the women in the store and confronted her.
Now the woman claims that she didn't even see Carla and Carla didn't doubt the woman saying that you never even looked to see if I was there!
Hey, That Was My Parking Spot
But this happens time and time again. You patiently wait and depending on how the person pulls out of the spot, someone has the chance to move in without hesitation!
So, what do you do when this happens? Nice to know that our Executive Producer Morty has a myriad of things he does to people that do this.
One of the suggestions is to just pull up behind them and wait it out. Wait until they feel uncomfortable enough, they put the break lights on and decide to pull out themselves. There ya go...it's all yours! You should know that Morty is very "petty"!
There were some other ideas, but you'll have to listen to the segment to get those. On the other hand, listeners texted in with their own situations and how they handled it.
What's surprising enough, it was "World Kindness Day" today! Show that random act of kindness to your fellow human being. Well, guess what? Not today Jesus!
This seems to be a serious problem in Las Vegas and it can get ugly real quick! According to an article put out by Lifehacker.com, they address this very issue and what they call "lurking"! The article says basically, DO NOT DO IT!
Oh sure, sometimes people can be courteous and make room for you to pull in. All is good in the world and everyone is happy! However, "lurking" can cause problems and it will turn into some heated arguments that you just don't need right now!
Again, listen to the segment and enjoy!
The Few Las Vegas Properties That Still Offer Free Parking
Las Vegas used to be the land of FREE PARKING! Well that has certainly changed, and locals are downright unhappy.
Las Vegas Locals Miss Their Free Parking
If there’s just one thing locals wish they could demand out of Strip, and downtown casinos, it would be free parking. Locals admit, they would do a lot more on the strip if they didn't have to pay for parking. It's not necessarily the price, but the principal.
Self-parking garage policies have changed dramatically over the years, and far ewer resorts offer complimentary parking in Las Vegas nowadays.
The Latest Pay To Park Property:
The latest to announce "no more free parking" is The Venetian and The Palazzo, whose management said paid parking will kick in at the resorts sometime later in August.
The policy change appears to be because of the anticipated opening of the Sphere – so I'm quite certain other parking garages will change their policies so they can also cash in on the new foot traffic we'll be seeing.
So Where Ca You Park Las Vegas?
Here’s a breakdown of the free and sorta, kinda, free-ish parking garages that are still available as of the beginning of August 2023. How long it will last is anyone's guess, so grab it while you can!
Other Parking Options In Las Vegas:
The options of complimentary self-parking in Las Vegas are very limited. Several properties on the Strip offer free parking to locals for a specific number of hour, or on certain days. And a few downtown properties will validate for a few hours (some keep it pretty secret, so don't be afraid to ask.
Many resorts offer free self-parking for loyalty program members of a designated level, and local Nevada ID's can save you a little bit.
Caesars Entertainment Properties
Horseshoe, Caesars Palace, Paris, The Linq, Flamingo and the Cromwell resorts all offer the first three hours free for locals with a valid Nevada driver’s license.
