Ditch Your Old Job, Las Vegas, For One With Purpose
If you’re looking for a new job in Las Vegas, there’s an upcoming hiring event you should check out.
It’s called the Work With Purpose event. And it’s giving Las Vegas residents a chance at just that: work, with purpose. Work With Purpose is a community hiring event that brings together nonprofit organizations from all over Clark County. Each of which is looking to hire new employees. Many of them right on the spot.
This is not just another Las Vegas job fair.
Work With Purpose is offering more than employment to potential candidates. They’re offering careers that change lives. Not just those of the clients of the nonprofits. But also of those who work for them. Imagine coming home at the end of a long day knowing you made a difference in someone’s life.
That’s what new employees can gain from a career with a local nonprofit. There are jobs available for people of all passions at the Work With Purpose event. If a candidate wants to help our local veterans in Las Vegas, there will be openings through U.S. Vets Las Vegas. If their passion is providing hope and shelter for Las Vegas’ homeless population, Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada will be on site. Those are just two of the nonprofits participating at the hiring event.
Other organizations joining include YMCA, Goodwill of Southern Nevada and The Center. Additionally, there will be interviews available with the Grant a Gift Autism Center, the Salvation Army, and Teach For America. Opportunity Village is hosting the event and they will also be hiring there.
How to get your new job with purpose in Las Vegas.
To participate, come dressed in business casual attire with lots of resumes in hand. The event will take place on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 10:oo a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Betty’s Village.
