Neil Patrick Harris In Las Vegas For Sphere Opening Weekend
Neil Patrick Harris just made many fans in Las Vegas happy when he appeared on the Strip this weekend.
Many celebrities flocked to Vegas over the weekend to catch the much-awaited opening of the MSG Sphere. Honored as the first live performers, U2 kicked off their Las Vegas Achtung Baby residency with their first show on Friday night. And Neil Patrick Harris wasn’t about to miss this moment in history. He and his partner, David Burtka, arrived in Las Vegas on Thursday for a very luxurious stay.
So what does a weekend in Vegas look like when you are a multi-award winning celebrity?
Thanks to Resorts World Las Vegas, we have an inside glimpse. First, Harris checked in to his 2,000 square foot Resorts World Two-Bedroom Entertainment Suite in the Crocksfords Villas. With only five locations in the world, the Crocksfords is the ultimate in exclusivity and luxury. Harris’s room came complete with a soaking tub, rain shower, fully equipped kitchen and floor-to-ceiling windows showing off the Las Vegas Strip below.
After check-in on Thursday, Harris and Burtka enjoyed spa treatments at Resorts World’s Awana Spa. They then lounged by the Athena Infinity Pool in a private VIP cabana. And, considering Harris’ and Burtka’s physiques, we can only assume they also paid a visit to the resort’s fitness center as well.
So, far not too shabby a weekend in Las Vegas! But that was just the beginning for the happy pair. Burtka posted on his Instagram page that they saw U2 at the Sphere. He didn’t mention the specific date, but we can only presume they were there for the very first show on Friday. Burtka reviewed the show, saying that it was the “most visually stunning concert” he has ever seen.
Additionally, Burtka mentioned that he and Harris were also able to catch Lady Gaga’s show while they were in town. Gaga is doing her Jazz & Piano show at the Dolby Live Theater at Park MGM. Burtka called Gaga’s talent “extraordinary” in his Instagram post.
Harris and Burtka sure crammed a lot into their Vegas weekend. Understandably, Burtka also mentioned in his post that they returned home worn out. Which, in this local’s opinion, is the only way to do Vegas right.
