Eggo Waffles, But In Alcohol Form?
Get ready for an amazing mashup of waffles and alcohol.
Kellogg Company is best known for their frozen waffles that are quick to make when on the go. Well they combined their powers with Sugarlands Distilling Co. and have come up with a breakfast drink for mom and dad!
A Morning Pick Me Up
Kellogg Company is the company that creates the frozen morning breakfast treat of waffles. They created an alcoholic drink that they say “seamlessly blends the flavors of toasted Eggo waffles, sweet maple syrup and rich butter, with a hint of smoky bacon.” It’s called “Brunch in a Jar” sipping cream, according to a press release.
Now we know that this is something mom and dad might not want to drink when the kids are around the table or before taking them to school, but it’s definitely something to drink on a weekend morning.
The drink was created to pair with an Eggo waffle and to help kick up a brunch occasion, according to Kellogg Company. The drink is sold in a mason jar and has a creamy liqueur blend of flavors. According to Appalachian Drinking Co., “Appalachian Sippin’ Creams are award-winning, rum-based, cream liqueurs.” So, it’s basically a cream-based liquor that can elevate any coffee, rum, espresso martini, etc.
A Successful Paring
This isn’t the first time Sugarlands Distilling Co. has teamed up with Kelloggs Company. Last year the two companies joined forces to bring you a holiday alcoholic drink in a jar called Eggo Nog. You guessed it, eggnog with the flavor of Eggo waffles and syrup. The limited drink was in high demand. The two companies decided to team up again. This time to celebrate the one meal we all love….Breakfast!
