Oscar Mayer Is Looking For 12 New Weinermobile Members For 2023
It’s that time of year again! Oscar Mayer is ready to hit the road on their twenty state, 20,000 mile journey across the United States. But before they can do that, they need to hire 12 new hotdoggers to take the famous vehicle on the road.
Oscar Mayer is currently taking applications for the positions. From now until the end of January, college students who recently graduated and have a valid drivers license are urged to apply to be a part of their 36th class to do the job.
It is a full-time position and pays decent. But the real pay is taking an iconic vehicle across the country to meet tons of people and put smiles on their faces, handing out the iconic wiener whistles! On top of that, their responsivities include maintaining the vehicle on the road, posting on social media of the journey and stops, and passing out those whistles! 250,000 to be exact!
They will be a part of over 200 events during the year and these 12 chosen will be the official Oscar Mayer spokespersons! Also, they’ll be giving rides in the Wienermobile to fans of hot dogs and even celebs who want a ride in the iconic vehicle.
Aside from being a recent graduate and having a valid drivers license, each candidate has to have a bachelor’s degree. They’re looking for degrees in public relations, journalism, communications and or marketing, which makes sense. They want the best out there to represent their brand. They say that less than 1% of applicants are chosen to be a part of the elite 12 to do the job.
