Parents Going Through That T-Ball Phase With Kids
We’ve all had to go through it, putting our kids into sports when they were young. So, this was for the parents going through that “t-ball” phase with their kids! Keep in mind that when you do this, that a lot of times, the entire family is there to show their support. On The Mike & Carla Morning Show, this is why we brought it up this morning, because Carla Rea is going through it.
As an Aunt, she is the one that goes out to the games and cheers on her nephew. In the stands showing support for the little one and cheering on every good play. Those might be few and far between, but nonetheless, she’s there!
Parents Going Through The T-Ball Phase With Their Kids
It’s funny how each of us describes the action of a t-ball game, but we think Carla hit the nail on the head. Keep in mind that most kids playing at this age have no idea what there doing. Oh, there might be one kid that stands out. That’s wearing the shades, the batting gloves and stuff like that…and there is one on the team who is all that!
But keep in mind, the chances of any of these kids going on to play baseball in high school, college or even the major leagues is remote! According to an article in Spreadsheet, the percentages are very low. Not to be negative, but more realistic, we all have to understand that this is just a game. That boys and girls who play, starting at the t-ball levels are doing so just for fun!
However, that is sometimes lost in translation on the parents. That’s why signs are posted at different fields to let the parents know. A sign that Carla just happened to snap a picture of and read what it said this morning. Parents, listen up!
But it’s not just t-ball, it’s basketball, soccer and more. Spend a couple of minutes, listen to the segment. See if you can’t relate to those listeners who called and texted into the show…and enjoy!
