Kids Design New Logos For Henderson Silver Knights
This is such a great story, two kids from a local elementary schools designed a new logos for the Henderson Silver Knights. Of course the Silver Knights, the minor league team of the Stanley Cup Champion Vegas Golden Knights. The Mike & Carla Morning Show thought this was an incredible idea!
According to a recent report from our friends over at Channel 3, two students won the honor for their designs. Both students from the Southeast Career and Technical Academy won the honor for their design.
Logos For Silver Knights Designed By Kids!
The winning students, Katherine and Zoe, thought it was important for their logo to bring awareness to others in the fight against childhood cancer. They coupled that idea with a design would bring joy to others.
What a great concept for these young people to come up with the winning logo. It’s a great way to get kids involved in the sport and the community at the same time!
The design from the students will be worn in a game after the new year. Scheduled for February 3rd, the night will be billed as “Hockey Fights Cancer Knight”. The game to be played against the Iowa Wild.
The club is currently 8-4 and in 3rd place in the Pacific Division of the AHL. The hockey team has a three game homestand starting tonight against the Coachella Valley Firebirds.
Tickets tend to be a little less than those of the parent club that plays at the T-Mobile Arena. If you love the game hockey, you’re gonna love the Silver Knights. Wide open play, constant action at both ends of the ice, and intense play each period.
But if you’re going to plan an outing to catch some great minor league hockey, mark your calendar for February 3rd! The Silver Knights play at the Dollar Loan Center in Henderson.
