Man Goes Blind Setting Guinness World Record
A man trying to set a Guinness World Record almost went blind and it all for naught! Since the guy didn’t apply to Guinness, although the guy said it was an official attempt, the Guinness World Record people would not recognize it!
As The Mike & Carla Morning Show revealed details, the attempt was doomed from the beginning! Now keep in mind that there is really no official “longest crying” recording standing at this point in time. However, in 2003, there was this two-year-old girl who set an unofficial record for crying when she did it for 74-minutes. A crying fit that her mother recorded and it eventually went viral.
According to an article in the Daily Mirror, a Nigerian man cried for nearly a week in hopes of setting the record, but guess what? Since he didn’t properly apply to the Guinness World Record people, there was no way they could recognize it as official!
The article goes on to say that the self-proclaimed comedian invited people on TikTok to send them their problems and that he would cry for them! Clearly it worked since he gained over 5.3 billion views for his efforts.
Trying to set a Guinness World Record and going blind?
Other other hand, the guy said he experienced a issues during the event. Headaches, puffy eyes, swollen face and even went blind for a total of 45 minutes. Once again, keep in mind that despite he’s efforts, the time set was NOT official!
This alone has sparked numerous “record setting” marathons in Nigeria that featured cooking, reading books out loud, but the best one…a massage-a-thon! A local masseuse attempted a 72 hour massage-a-thon before fainting on live tv!
GWR is advising people in hopes of setting records to take caution. If your attempt in anyway puts your physical body in harms way, you have the risk of being disqualified! We think that some people just have, as Styx would sing, too much time on their hands!

The average J-ville resident will drop 28 swear words per day! Not sure what’s happening in this Florida city that makes people drop an %$#@ here and there to the tune of 28 times a day, but according to the study they do. You would think with all that sunshine, being a college down…oh, that might be it right there! Or it could be there NFL team right? Whatever the reason, it’s good enough to give them the third highest ranking in this survey!
#2 LAS VEGAS, NEVADA

Are you kidding us, Las Vegas is #2? WOW! We are just as shocked as you are that this city is NOT #1 on this list…however, we forget that this is a city with families and at one time, the most churches per capita than any other city in the nation. Not sure that has any affect on the swearing along the world famous strip, but the average Las Vegan will drop a swear word at least 30 times per day…good enough to be #2 on the list!

Well, well…who would of thought a college town in the heartland of the United States would have ended up #1 on the list of cities that swear the most? Columbus, Ohio is atop the list with residents dropping at least 36 swear words per day! Known as the “Arch City”, Columbus is also home to Thee Ohio State Buckeyes, the German Village, filled with shops and restaurants built in the 1800’s by German settlers, and much more…well, now Columbus can add “swearing” to the list since they are the city that swears the most in the U.S. making them #1!
