When you’re a teenager, there’s nothing better than that perfect summer job. Of course, most will tell you why summer jobs in Las Vegas are the best! That’s what The Mike & Carla Morning Show talked about this morning. According to a recent study, StudyFinds reported the Top 5 summer jobs for teens.
Now for Mike O’Brian it was at a family resort up in Michigan…very similar to the one featured in the movie “Dirty Dancing”! Carla Rea had quite a few perfect summer jobs as well…including the one at the local Photomat!
A summer job in Las Vegas is the BEST!
Mowing the grass, walking dogs, or even babysitting are all cool summer jobs, but if you live in Las Vegas, it can be way cooler! Think about it! All the pools, clubs, restaurants and more…are you kidding? That’s why when M&C threw the question out there, “your best summer job”, a lot of listener came through texting and even calling in.
One listener describe he’s summer job at a 24 hour café in the old Stardust Hotel. It was the home of the Lido de Paris at the time. All the showgirls would show up to grab something to eat between shows. Since it was a “topless” show, they barely wore anything when in the café. As a 17 year old bus boy, working those all night hours, it was to his delight to work during those breaks and get an eyeful!
On the other hand, one guy talked about his summer job in Las Vegas at a local “all-adult” pool. Needless to say, you’re 18 years old and given the scenery, you have to take the good with the bad. But he did say he tried to focus on the “good” and just enjoy the best summer ever!
