New Rat Czar Has Been Named In The Big Apple
Not sure how many of you have ever been to New York City, but they have a huge rat problem. No need to worry now since they’ve named the new “Rat Czar” in the Big Apple! The woman’s name is Kathleen Corradi and The Mike & Carla Morning Show shared some of her comments at her first press conference.
It might not seem odd to those that know the largest city in the country, but to those of us who have never been, it does seem strange. To have an actual rat problem in your city! And I guess we’re not talking small, cute little rats either. We’re talking huge rats that could probably walk around on their hind legs!
However, when you have a rat problem as does New York City, it is surprising that this is the very first “Rat Czar” to be named to the position. In fact, she beat out over 1,000 other applicants.
Now, as nice as she sounds, you’d think they would have hired a big burly type guy to handle this sort of problem right? Somebody with maybe some pest control experience? Of course, we don’t know this woman’s history or her experience of getting rid of rats, maybe she does have a background in extermination.
On the other hand, Morty had a great idea…at least he thought he did. Someone the city could have hired for the job. Although the person was not real and straight out of a fairy tale. But nonetheless, he might have worked just as well.
Hey listen, if this person can get the job done, then so be it. Who are we to judge not knowing all the facts. Who knows right? You get rid of the rats, hopefully more tourists. Those people that have never been will be more likely to visit.
