Welcome The Newest Member To ‘Raider Nation’
“Raider Nation” welcomed the newest member to their family as defensive end Maxx Crosby and fiancé, Rachel Washburn, welcomed into the world Ella Rose! Born over the weekend and coming in at eight pounds and four ounces, mother and baby are doing fine.
With the Las Vegas Raiders having a bye week this weekend, Maxx found time to be right there every step of the way and be that toting proud “girl-dad”! It seems as if the head coach, Josh McDaniels even got into the spirit of helping with the birth and giving the parents a few tips, including one that Rachel actually used. She was advised to use a bouncing yoga ball to help induce labor if need be…and it was!
Ella Rose’s due date was originally on November 3rd, but as life goes, she decided to go into overtime and score about a week and a half later. So everyone is okay, a little sleepy over the past couple of days or so, but Maxx should be ready to go this weekend when the Houston Texans come to town and the Raiders try to get back in the win column.
Although it’s been an up and down season for the team as a whole, Maxx Crosby has been once again dominate on the defensive side of the ball since coming to the Raiders back in 2019. A fourth round draft pick out of Eastern Michigan, the 6’5″ Crosby has been a nice surprise to the organization from the very beginning making his debut with the team in week one that year against division rivals, the Denver Broncos, making 6 tackles in the 24–16 win.
Even more importantly, Maxx celebrated his two-year anniversary of becoming sober and with that, signed a four-year, $98.98 million contract extension with the Raiders! So Maxx, The Mike & Carla Moring Show wish you the best in both your personal life and on the field…and congrats on the birth of the newest member of Raider Nation, Ella Rosa!
