Get Your Tax Day Freebies And Specials In Las Vegas
It’s Tax Day! That one day we dread each year. Along with St. Patrick’s day, because no one really owns anything green, and has to hustle to find some. But I digress.
Tax Day Means Freebies in Las Vegas
Free donuts, and other freebies are down below. But the deadline to file your taxes is today. And if you’re doing them last-minute, you’re not alone.
According to a new survey from PR Newswire and Tax Act, for Tax Day, 47% of us procrastinate or delay doing our taxes. The average person spends eight hours just stressing about it each year. Many will spend more time avoiding doing them, than it would have taken to just buckle down and get them done.
So stop putting it of – OR, file for an extension and keep procrastinating for another six months.
You Paid The IRS, Now You Get Free Food
Saving a couple bucks probably won’t make up for the money you forked over to the government. But a bunch of places in Las Vegas have Tax Day deals today.
Krispy Kreme is always there with a freebie. Buy a dozen donuts at Krispy Kreme, get a second dozen for just the sales tax. So, buy one dozen, get another dozen for free!
Here are some other Tax Day deals. Most places you’ll want to download their app, and join their rewards program.
- BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse: A “1040” deal that gets you $10 off a $40 purchase.
- California Pizza Kitchen: A similar “1040” deal for rewards members.
- Dave & Buster’s: 50% off all food between today and April 28th if you join their rewards program.

If you’d rather just stay home and order in, and drink your wine in your robe, and skivvies, Grubhub has a $15 off deal (for April 15th). Spend at least $25 and use the code “TAXBREAK” on qualifying orders. This is limited to the first 1,000 people who use it,
Here’s one more non-food-related deal: You’re supposed to save tax documents for at least three years. But if you’ve got stuff to shred, Office Depot and OfficeMax have a free coupon to shred up to five pounds of paper between now and April 27th. Go for it!
Until next year, IRS!
