If you’re a fan of all the burger options we have in Las Vegas, there’s about to be one more.
And not just any burger place. A burger place that comes with its own cult following. Whataburger announced today that they are bringing one of their popular burger joints to Las Vegas. And it’s happening pretty soon.
For those who are Whataburger cult fans, this franchise is top dog. And with their 24-hour offerings, it’s going to be tough to beat in a city like Las Vegas. Especially with the fact that the next closest location is in Arizona. The new Las Vegas location will be the most western location the franchise has. There are currently none in Idaho, Utah or anywhere on the West Coast.
But for those who aren’t super fans of the 72-year old franchise, it’s just another burger joint. Sorry, Texas. Don’t kill the messenger. In all fairness, it’s not just burgers that Whataburger offers. So it will have a leg up on other cult classic burger joints like In-N-Out.
Get ready for 24-hour options of more than just burgers.
Whataburger’s biggest following is in Texas. Many Texans swear the burgers are the best in the country. But Whataburger also has chicken sandwiches, BLTs, Patty Melts and salads. As well as desserts and kids meals. And since they’re open 24 hours a day, they also offer breakfast options. So there’s a lot to entice hungry tourists and locals alike.
Yep, we think it might do pretty well in a 24-hour city like Las Vegas. Especially because they’re going to be on the Las Vegas Strip. The new location will be next to the Waldorf Astoria on the westside of Las Vegas Boulevard, 8newsnow.com reported. The newest franchise in CityCenter is in partnership with another well-known restaurant organization, the Panda Restaurant Group. Known for their Panda Express and Hibachi San restaurants.
The new Whataburger location will open this fall on the Strip and will hire about 210 people in Las Vegas.
In-N-Out Has The Second Healthiest Fast Food Cheeseburger; See Number One
Here it is, the “healthiest” fast food cheeseburger out there! Believe it or not, there are some fast food cheeseburgers that are healthier than others. Keep in mind, we’re not talking the “best”, but these are the healthiest. This is what The Mike & Carla Morning Show started talking about this morning.
According to a story from Gambling.com, they took the time and decided to rank fast food cheeseburgers. Considering thing like calories, fat, sugar and even sodium per ounce. So taking all these things into consideration, they came up with a list of the “healthiest” cheeseburgers in the fast food biz!
What’s The Healthiest Fast Food Cheeseburger?
Now we can tell you that some of the cheeseburgers you would think would be near the top are not. For instance, McDonald’s didn’t even crack the Top 5. As much as everyone in Las Vegas craves a cheeseburger from Five Guys, they didn’t make the Top 5 either.
We have to say that when you head out to a fast food place, right off the bat, healthy is NOT top of mind. You’re all about the taste, the flavor, how juicy it is when you take that first bite, These might be other things to consider when looking for the best, but remember, it’s the healthiest.
With that in mind, fast food burgers that did not make the top five? We already told you McDonald’s didn’t and neither did Five Guys. Carl’s Jr was another favorite that didn’t make the Top 5 as well as Dairy Queen. Known more so for ice cream, ever since moving into the food business, a place people do stop for a cheeseburger.
Last but not least, Burger King did not fair well in this research. Listen, nothing against any of the places mentioned in this post, because we all have our personal favorites. Listen to what The M&C Morning Show had to say about all this from this morning, then scroll down to see the Top 5 healthiest burgers in the country!
