Besides Eggs, Other Items That Are Getting Expensive
After Carla Rea when shopping only to find out that when she bought celery, it’s a bit more expensive than it used to be. So, this morning, that’s what The Mike & Carla Morning Show wanted to know…what are those items that seem to be more expensive now for now real reason?
For the most part, we all know why everything has gotten a bit more expensive, but aside from the politics, it does make you wonder when at the grocery store. The grocery store, buying things for the home and office, even non-sensical items like paperclips. But why?
So, The M&C Morning Show opened up the phone and text lines and listeners really brought it this morning! Carla also noticed the price of eggs now and that’s what really kicked things off. Have you looked at the price of a dozen eggs lately? And then you wonder why going out for breakfast has gotten so expensive! This is also making national news as well.
Kool-Aid was one item right off the bat that struck a nerve with one listener. At one time you could buy a packet of Kook-Aid for less than a nickel, now it’s up to .35 cents! WHY? It would seem more expensive to package and market the product than sell it…but considering what it is, really? Why has the price of Kool-Aid gone up?
Those were the types of items M&C had originally started talking about…but one listener with his reveal of paper towels be a bit more, all came with Mike O’Brian confessing on what he does with paper plates!
