Ric Ocasek’s Wife Reveals The Details Of Their Fallout
Paulina Porizkova is a world-famous model. So she’s no stranger to wearing revealing clothing for the sake of a good photo. Well, in her latest shoot, Paulina revealed a lot more than skin. The former wife of Cars frontman, Ric Ocasek, recently sat down with StyleLikeU for a video series. During the shoot, the model broke down about the demise of her marriage to the late rocker. And from the sound of it, Paulina was getting far less than just what she needed.
It’s not new information that rock stars often attach themselves, in one way or another, to beautiful women. But what happens when that beauty starts to fade? Do they stay together, with a relationship rooted in something deeper than physical attraction? Or does the relationship wrinkle as the skin does? It seems the latter was the case between Ocasek and Porizkova.
According to Porizkova, Ocasek was never the ideal husband. She claims he was very physically attracted to her, but never really paid much attention to what she had to say. Well, as all women have to eventually do, Paulina noticed she wasn’t as young as she used to be, and she started to appreciate parts of herself other than her looks. With that, often comes a different kind of self-love, perhaps arguably a healthier one. Paulina claims she started to push back on being mistreated, even though she had accepted it for so long. And with that change, she attests, came changes in Ocasek too. Allegedly, he refused to give her any physical intimacy because she wasn’t as compliant as she used to be. Porizkova says she begged him to work on the marriage and when finally resorted to an ultimatum about divorce, he didn’t put up a fight. Porizkova said she was heartbroken but had to stand up for herself.
