‘She-Hulk’ TV Series Casts ‘Orphan Black’ Star Tatiana Maslany In Title Role
“Welcome to the family, cuz,” Mark Ruffalo just tweeted at former Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany, sharing an announcement from Deadline that she will be playing the role of Jennifer Walters, who (in the comic books) is the cousin of Bruce Banner. Banner is, of course, the Hulk, and when Walters (a lawyer) was shot, Banner provided her an emergency blood transfusion which leads her Gamma Ray-fueled super strength, like her cousin. Unlike the Hulk, though, She-Hulk kept her personality (and in some storylines, even worked as a lawyer when she was green).

She-Hulk is one of many shows that take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that will air on the Disney+ streaming service.
Marvel and Disney have not yet confirmed the announcement, but the tweet from Ruffalo — who plays Banner/Hulk in the Avengers films — gives it credibility. There’s no word what, if any, involvement he’ll have in the series. There’s also no information about when the show will premeire.
