Group Therapy: Do I Tell My Friend About His Mom
In this week’s “Group Therapy”, it got a little frosty when a mom needs to know what she should tell her son to do. Does he tell his friend that he saw his mom with one of their teachers?
Oh yeah, The Mike & Carla Morning Show got the email and wanted listeners to comment on what they thought the mom should do. Keep in mind, that the kid works in a restaurant, saw he’s friend’s mom all cozy with one of their teachers.
Cleary, no one saw the kid, so the mom just wants to know what advice to give him? That’s the question this morning. Or have you ever been in this situation…and what did you do?
Now there is an article spotlighting this kind of thing from BareMarriage, It does give some good advice, however, it doesn’t talk about when your kid sees his friend’s mom having the affair.
Do I Tell My Friend His Mom Is Having An Affair
A pretty complicated spot to be in, since the kid doesn’t want to lose his best friend over this. So, does he tell him what he saw and let the chips fall where they may? Or say nothing, but when the friend finds out that his friend knew, what happens then?
Again, a sticky situation for sure. To be honest, the comments were split on this one. Some saying to stay out of it, others saying that the mom should make the call to the friends mom.
One listener even suggested the next time he sees them together, make sure they see him! Saying it’s one way to let the two adults know that their affair has been found out and they are on notice!
Overall, it was quite the dilemma, but in the end, the mom should make the call to the friend’s mom. Tell her that her son saw them and go from there.
Not sure if the friendship survives no matter what happens, but good luck to all right? Oh, Mike O’Brian did suggest to the kid, maybe get a new job. Move to another restaurant…Carla Rea didn’t see how that would make a difference.
