More Disney Inspired Horror Films In The Works
Remember the Winnie The Pooh horror film, “Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey” released? Apparently it was so bad it was great! If that doesn’t make sense to you, the movie was a C grade film at best but because it was inspired by an iconic Disney Film, people watched it and ended up not hating it. In fact the film gained so much popularity that the creators decided to make more horror films inspired by Disney!
Now the creators are making a horror film about everyone’s beloved deer, Bambi! Scott Jeffrey, who’s the director of the films “The Curse of Humpty Dumpty” and “The Bad Nun” is turning Bambi into a killer! The film will be titled, “Bambi: The Reckoning” and was inspired by Netflix‘s “The Ritual”. The film will be about a group of men who find themselves in a mysterious forest while hiking and come across the dreadful deer!
A lot of people were asking how they got the rights from Disney or how they’re not being sued. The U.S. copyright law states that the copyright is limited to the authors life, plus add an additional 70 years on to that. The author of Bambi passed away in 1945, giving them rights to the authors work, even though Disney’s “Bambi” is still protected.
