It’s been traveling by whisper in the music world for a while now. The rumor that rock and roll is dying and R&B is the taking its place atop the music mountain. But Debbie Harry (of Blondie) and Shirley Manson (of Garbage) are out to prove rock is here to stay. And these two had a big hand in the success of contemporary female-fronted rock bands. They paved the way for women to let it all out, out in front.
