What Grades Would You Get On Your Father’s Day Report Card
This weekend we celebrate Father’s Day and just as an experiment, we wanted to know what grades you would get on your Father’s Day report card? In other words, pick a few categories, ask your kids to grade their dads in each category and see how dear old dad shapes up!
On The Mike & Carla Morning Show, we did exactly that with Mike O’Brian. Carla Rea established the categories, reached out to Mike’s two daughters and even his step-daughter. Then she asked them to simply respond accordingly.
What Grades Did You Get On Your Father’s Day Report Card
Carla even reached out to Mike’s wife Jodi, and got responses from his son-in-law and his oldest grandson! It seemed that everyone was getting in on the act.
It was interesting to hear each daughter and their take on Mike when it came to being “cool”, his cooking skills as a dad and even grading him on the advice he has handed out.
Oddly enough, his two daughters and his step-daughter all had their own unique perspective on Mike in each of the categories.
It was even more interesting to get his wife’s view point. Looking in from the outside and how she has seen him “mellow” over the years.
But the general consensus was that Mike is a “cool” dad, he does have “grill” skills, he’s an average dresser…bordering on casual most of the time. Overall, he came up as a grade “A” father, which he will gladly take any day of the week.
Again, it was a lot of fun and you might think of doing the same thing this weekend with your dad. You can come up with your own categories as you see fit.
