The Line Disney Deleted From ‘The Santa Clause’
This movie has been out since 1994, but just recently Disney has decided to cut a line out of the movie “The Santa Clause”. Evidently, parents were complaining about it enough for them to finally delete the line. The Mike & Carla Morning Show brought this up this morning and a lot of people were shocked (SHOCKED)! Delete a line from a movie about Kris Kringle that some thought was offensive?
Think about how many times you have seen this movies starring Tim Allen, Judge Reinhold and quite a few others. A family Christmas movie that we’ve all enjoyed over the years. So good, it’s had 2-3 other sequels. Admittedly not as good as the original, but whatever right? So, what was the line that got so many complaints? Now, many probably already know, but for us on the morning show, we were like, “REALLY?”
What Line Disney Deleted From A “Santa” Movie
Apparently during one scene there is a telephone number that is mentioned and it turns out that it’s a real number! If you dial it, someone actually answers and it might be someone who is NOT looking to talk to kids. And there in lies the problem…kids were dialing the number!
Before you listen to the segment below, The M&C Morning Show wanted to know if you have ever done this. Have you seen or heard a telephone number in a movie or tv show and decided to dial it up to see if it’s real?
Now we all know we have when Tommy Tutone came out with his hit “867-5309, Jenny” back in 1981. But other than that, have you ever done it? Anyway, checkout the segment, find out what line it is that was taken out of the movie. Let us know if you’re surprised or not. If it was up to you, would you have done the same thing?
Just know in all the years and as many times as we have seen this movie, it would never occur to us that we would even think about deleting this one line!
