With Christmas right around the corner, what gifts would you give that would let someone know where you are from? Think about it…it came up this morning on The Mike & Carla Morning Show. A present you could give someone and right away they would know where you were from originally.

Of course, living in Las Vegas, there are quite a few things that you could give someone and they would know immediately right? From a set of dice to a deck of playing cards. A shot glass with the “Welcome to Las Vegas” logo on it or even some chips! And we’re not talking the “potato” kind!

What Gifts Would Show Where You Were From!

For Mike O’Brian, even though he grew up closer to the Chicago area, but being from Indiana it was anything to do with the Indianapolis 500! For Carla Rea, being a born and raised in Nevada, the afore mentioned would tell you immediately. However, being from northern Nevada, maybe something from Lake Tahoe?

Now with Morty, the Executive Producer on the show, being from Hawaii, that opened a few different doors. From Macadamia Nuts to Kona Coffee just off the top. You could even through in a coconut bra or grass skirt as well right?

Listeners wanted to join in, so with that, one listener mentioned Kansas City…anything to do with BBQ, From Kentucky, one listener brought up Bourbon or even Bourbon Balls! One guy from Philly joined in…aside from an “attitude” or a punch in the nose, he said a Philly Steak Sandwich! Okay…we’re all good with that.

Another listener called in from Indiana and said that, along with anything Indy 500, an ear of corn! With that said, Mike mentioned “popcorn” being that Orville Redenbacher is from Indiana!
