There’s A Brand New Christmas Drive-Thru Light Show In Vegas This Year
Nope, we’re not talking about the Speedway. There’s a new light show coming to Las Vegas this year for the Christmas season.
Well, technically it’s coming to Henderson. Yesterday, the M Resort in Henderson announced a brand-new Christmas drive-thru light show experience for locals and tourists to enjoy. Called the ‘Rockin’ Christmas,’ it’s promised to be the largest animated light show in the world, News3LV reported.
The family friendly attraction is a mile long and decked out in millions of colorful LED lights. Some other eye-catching displays will include a spinning Santa and huge “life-sized” musical notes (news3lv.com). Wait…exactly how big are musical notes in real life? I’ve never seen one. Okay, this could be cool.
Produced by World of Illumination and hosted by MC Mic, the ‘Rockin’ Christmas’ drive-thru light show is described as an audio-visual “full-throttle musical extravangza”, if World of Illumination does say so themselves. And they do (worldofillumination.com). In addition to all the lights and music, guests can look forward to hundreds of animated displays. And since this is the ‘Rockin’ Christmas’ show, the displays will be mostly music-themed.
So now there’s another option for a drive-thru Christmas light experience closer to the southern side of the Las Vegas Valley. But it’s probably going to be very popular for its inaugural year. So you might want to grab tickets ahead of time. Presale tickets are available here, starting at $31.99 (plus taxes and fees). And you should get them presale because those are the discounted prices and tickets are only available for purchase online anyway.
There are weekday, weekend and flex passes. And only one pass is required per vehicle. No busses, RVs or limos are allowed. ‘Rockin’ Christmas’ will be opening at the M Resort at 12300 Las Vegas Blvd S on November 17th and stay open until New Year’s Eve. More details are at worldofillumination.com.
