Ford Patents “Return To Dealership” Feature For Their Cars
The next time you’re looking for a new car, you may want to look at the features the new car offers. Ford has patented a self-driving car. Now this technology isn’t new. Tesla already has the option for self-driving but Ford is taking it one step further.
Fords patent for self-driving cars now includes the car driving it’s self back to the dealership or scrapyard if the account becomes delinquent. So you don’t make your payments, the car will repo itself! That eliminate the middle man (tow truck companies) from looking for the car.
The car will warn you too! The patent includes features like disabling music and air conditioning to warn the owner they have to make a payment. It will also play annoying buzzing and chiming sounds to annoy the owner into making a payment. It will even completely disable the car so it’s not drivable.
For said they think this will solve a lot of problems with delinquent accounts. Also it will eliminate owners from arguing with collection agencies or even the dealer, when contacted about their delinquent payments!
