“E.T.” is considered one to be one of the most iconic movies out of the 80’s! It was called one of the finest films of the generation. Like most great films, they usually have a sequel to please the fans. What a lot of people didn’t know was there was a sequel to the movie in the works.
Steven Spielberg teamed up with Melissa Matheson (Wrote the first movie), to create the sequel. It was gonna be called “E.T. 2: Nocturnal Fears“! Ultimately, Spielberg decided to scrap it because he didn’t want to take away from the success of the first film. While most fans would have loved to have a second movie to watch, it obviously was the best choice.
To this day, the film still holds its status! We have more on this story and more on today’s Entertainment News!
