How Journey’s New(ish) Bassist Dropped Over Pounds
Journey recently announced they were changing their line-up…again. After firing Steve Smith and Ross Valory, Neal Schon and Jonathan Cain brought in three new members. One of those members is Randy Jackson. The American Idol judge used to play bass for the band, so bringing him back was easy. He already knows the music. But getting back on the music stage isn’t the biggest change Jackson has seen recently. He has also seen a major transformation in himself. Back in 2003, body shamers and a diabetes diagnosis compelled Jackson to lose weight. And lose weight he did…over 100 pounds of it.
Jackson recently talked to thethings.com to tell us how he did it. Check it out.
