Gossip Buzz Surrounds Mellencamp’s Latest Outing With Meg Ryan
John Mellencamp made the gossip columns again after being spotted in New York City during the holidays with actress Meg Ryan.
The couple — accompanied by Mellencamp’s son Hud and Ryan’s son Jack Quaid — took in the New York Knicks game on Christmas Day at Madison Square Garden. Mellencamp and Ryan dated from 2011-2014, after which he took up with Christie Brinkley for a time. He and Ryan were seen during May on Martha’s Vineyard, and People magazine declared them back together during the summer.
The thrice-married Mellencamp, however, would not reveal much in the way of details about the relationship to us:
“I don’t really talk about that stuff, but I’m sure that you don’t have the right information. That’s my answer. I wouldn’t pay much attention to that kind of stuff. I don’t know why anybody would.”
Mellencamp was on the road this year supporting his latest album, Sad Clowns & Hillbillies. He has not yet announced any plans for 2018.
