You’re Going To LOVE This New Facebook Feature
There’s a new Facebook feature on the block and it promises to save your sanity.
Let’s face it, we all have that friend who overshares. Whether they are gushing about their new job, baby, significant other, car, and the likes one thing is certain … you are SICK of hearing about it in your Facebook News Feed.
The funny thing about Facebook’s algorithm is that if you liked the first couple photos about their new obsession, Facebook thinks you need to see every one of their posts. To make matters worse, said posts usually dominates your newsfeed.
Ahhhhhhhhhh! If you’ve ever thought to yourself “Make. It. Stop.” you’re not alone. Luckily, Facebook has a new feature for you.
While the snooze feature is currently only being tested by select Facebook users, so far it seems like a welcomed edition to the social media platform.
Previously, users had the option to unfollow or hide those annoying Facebook Friends, but the snooze feature provides you with the opportunity to hide them long enough for them to chill with the Facebook posts regarding their new obsession.
According to Tech Crunch, a spokesperson for Facebook confirmed that they are testing the new feature as a way for their users to connect with the stories that are most important to them.
