Watch Comedy: Calling Tech Support
Calling customer tech support can be a daunting experience. First, you wait on hold for what seems like an eternity. Then, you have to tell them everything about yourself before they even attempt to solve your problem. Then, you have to try and explain your problem, and you can never seem to find the right words to get the customer tech support person to understand what’s going on.
By the end of the phone call, either they are upset with you for not explaining the problem correctly, or you just get frustrated because you don’t understand what they are asking you to do. How can calling tech support possibly be funny?
I love comedy. I really admire the talent of great stand-up comics. I think what they do is incredible. On the radio, I do what I do in a closed-door studio. I never see the audience. Stand-up comedians have to make people laugh while they are looking them right in the eye. It’s do or die. It takes guts, and great comedic chops.
So, I thought I would share some great stand-up comedy with you every Monday. Why? Because it’s Monday! Everyone could use a good laugh on Monday. So, here we go with our next installment.
