Watch Comedy: It’s All About Halloween
Well, here we are. One week away from Halloween. Are you stocked up on candy? Do your kids have the costumes they hoped for? Are you making plans to attend a Halloween party? Do you have your costume ready?
For some folks, Halloween is their favorite holiday of the year. It’s the time that they can escape the monotony of everyday life and become someone, or something, else. For others, Halloween is their least favorite holiday. They don’t like horror movies. They don’t like being scared out of their wits. Thinking about what to wear as a costume to a Halloween party brings on the dry heaves.
I am not sure I have ever met someone who was luke-warm about Halloween. Everyone seems to be in one camp or the other. Sorry to say, I’m in the latter group. I have nothing against those who love Halloween. It’s just not for me. But that doesn’t mean it can’t be funny!
I love comedy. I really admire the talent of great stand-up comics. I think what they do is incredible. On the radio, I do what I do in a closed-door studio. I never see the audience. Stand-up comedians have to make people laugh while they are looking them right in the eye. It’s do or die. It takes guts, and great comedic chops.
So, I thought I would share some great stand-up comedy with you every Monday. Why? Because it’s Monday! Everyone could use a good laugh on Monday. So, here we go with our next installment.
Here we go with a compilation of great comedy bits from various stand-up comics compiled by the folks at Dry Bar Comedy. Enjoy!
