Blondie Covers Lil Nas X’s ‘Old Town Road’ at Tour Opener

By now, most of us have been introduced to the Lil Nas X song “Old Town Road,” which just tied a Billboard Hot 100 record by topping the chart for 16 consecutive weeks, and apparently, among the song’s many fans is Blondie.
Blondie kicked off their tour with Elvis Costello & The Imposters on July 20 and included a cover of the mega-hit on their setlist. The crowd in attendance at the Bethel, New York popped big when Debbie Harry started singing the track’s hooky chorus.
Blondie and Costello’s next tour stop is tonight (July 23) in Boston. A complete list of tour dates can be found at Blondie.net.
