The all too short career of Buddy Holly and The Crickets had many highlights, and one of the biggest was their debut on The Ed Sullivan Show.
Airing on December 1, 1957, the band performed two of their biggest songs, “Peggy Sue” and “That’ll Be The Day.” As far as live performances go, it doesn’t get any tighter and on-pointe as this.
