VIDEO: Sir Paul Joins Little Steven on Stage For “I Saw Her Standing There”
Paul McCartney may be on a break from his seemingly never-ending world tour, but he popped up with Little Steven Van Zandt and his Disciples of Soul on Saturday (November 4) in London.
McCartney joined Van Zandt and company for a rendition of the Beatles’ “I Saw Her Standing There,” returning the favor from when Van Zandt and Bruce Springsteen joined McCartney and his band for the same song on September 15 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Van Zandt told the London crowd that Saturday’s performance was a bit of “unfinished business,” referring to the 2012 show in London’s Hyde Park when authorities pulled the plug on a McCartney appearance with Springsteen and the E Street Band due to curfew.
McCartney returns to the road on December 2 for a seven-show run through Australia and New Zealand.
