Hugh Heffner Dead at 91 Years Young
The world’s most famous party boy, Hugh Heffner, has died at 91 peacefully in his home.
The founder of Playboy was his own form of celebrity, being what TMZ called a “cultural phenomenon,” being known for his lavish parties and all the “sexy women” at his house.
His health had been declining for a while, and he even had sold his home, but under interesting circumstances.
“Hefner parted ways with the pad in August 2016 … selling to Pabst Blue Ribbon heir Daren Metropoulos for $110 million. But the sale had one condition — Hefner could live in the mansion without the new owner’s meddling until Hefner died.”
Being known for scoring beautiful women for their covers and centerfolds, Heffner is responsible for sexualizing female celebrities like Marilyn Monroe, Cindy Crawford, Kim Basinger, Pamela Anderson, Madonna, Sharon Stone, Naomi Campbell, Carmen Electra, Drew Barrymore and Kim Kardashian.
His popularity rocketed sky high, and he even has played himself in movies, including Beverly Hills Cop 2.
