How To Watch Billy Idol’s Vegas Pre-Game Show
As a Vegas local, I keep getting asked about what’s going on in Sin City for Super Bowl LVIII. And many Billy Idol fans want to know how they can get a glimpse of the rocker doing that pregame show on Sunday. Here’s the skinny: you have to buy a ticket. Not just to the pregame show, but for the whole Super Bowl shebang.
Billy Idol Headlining Show To Kick Off Gameday In Las Vegas
Those experience packages don’t come cheap. The ones for Super Bowl LVIII are currently starting at about seven grand. And that does come with the pregame entertainment by Billy Idol. But it also includes a lot of extras for a one-of-a-kind experience for football fans.
And Idol is pretty dedicated to his role in that. He told The Associated Press that he knows his job as the pregame performer is to pump people up for gameday. He said that when he’s prepping for his show on Sunday, his mindset will be that “it’s about adding excitement to the event” (apnews.com).
Details About The Pregame Show With Billy Idol
And while a Billy Idol concert is already an exciting event, this is going to be extra special. For multiple reasons beyond Idol’s commitment to the crowd. The size of the crowd is going to be another factor. The two venues for the show are On Location’s Club 67 and Touchdown Club just outside of Allegiant Stadium. And those venues cater to 9,000 guests that will be rocking out to Billy Idol’s biggest hits.
The show is only expected to last about 35 minutes (apnews.com). Which is another factor to consider. That doesn’t give Idol time to bring any of those slower ballads to the set. This is going to be half an hour of Rebel Yell, White Wedding, Mony Mony, Dancing With Myself kind of energy.
Extras That Experience Packages Come With
Those who are willing to shell out that kind of money are going to have an amazing, truly unique life experience to remember. In addition to the Billy Idol pregame show, the package includes a ticket to Super Bowl LVIII. As well as all-inclusive food and an open bar. And, depending on the package, access to official team parties, special appearances by NFL stars, and more.
So, for the ballers out there who do want to splurge on this one-of-a-kind bucket list experience, you can grab those ticket packages here.
Super Bowl Experiences For The Rest Of Us
If $7K per person is out of your budget, like many of us, there’s still a way to get some Super Bowl experience in Las Vegas. It doesn’t come with a Billy Idol pregame show. But it does have some cool stuff to see. Like interactive games, photos with Super Bowl rings and the Vince Lombardi trophy, and more. It’s going down at Mandalay Bay Convention Center this weekend. Those tickets are about $50 and available here.
And for those who are bummed they’re not going to see Billy Idol this weekend, I wouldn’t worry. Idol also told The Associated Press that he’s got an album coming out this year. And with that comes a tour. There’s no word yet of when he’ll tour or where he’ll be, but he just can’t seem to stay away from Las Vegas for long. He’ll be back.
