Let’s Go Swimming In Las Vegas
Let’s go swimming!
I recently posted an article about a study that ranks Las Vegas as the #1 city in the U.S.A. for hosting pool parties. The study was based on factors like climate, the price of party essentials like food, soda, water and beer, number of houses with pools, size of homes, size of lawns, and other various metrics.
With our hot, dry climate, and the many homes with pools, it is no wonder that Sin City took top honors. However, not everyone is fortunate enough to own a pool. Many of us do not have friends or neighbors with pools either. So, how do the rest of us “beat the heat” on these hot summer days.
Well, with a quick Google search, I was able to find a website that lists all of the public swimming pools in Southern Nevada. The website vegas4locals.com is where you can find the complete list, which covers local areas including North Las Vegas, Henderson, Summerlin, Boulder City, and the city of Las Vegas. According to the website post, all of the pools listed are open to the public, but you should be aware that admission prices may vary.
So, it turns out you do not have to beg friends, relatives or neighbors to let you and your family come over for a swim during the hot summer days in Las Vegas. Just head to the nearest public swimming pool and watch out for that guy who is ready to do a “Cannonball!”
