Eagles At The Sphere Show Opens This Month
The legendary Eagles are kicking off their residency at the MSG Sphere in Vegas this month. It’s one of the best-selling bands of all time in one of the most iconic venues in the world. Translation? It’s a show not to be missed. Fortunately, the Eagles have added a lot of extra shows to their residency so everyone can get a chance to see them. Here’s what you can expect if you’re planning to check out the Eagles at the Sphere this year.
First, let’s answer the question on everyone’s mind. What is the line-up for the Eagles at the Sphere residency? Easy answer. It’s the same line-up they had when they came to Vegas the last time. Original Eagle members Don Henley will be doing drums and lead vocal. Joe Walsh is on guitar, and Timothy B. Schmit is on bass. They will be joined by singer-songwriter Vince Gill and the late Glenn Frey’s son, Deacon. Both of which play guitar and share vocals for songs Glenn notoriously sang on. If you haven’t heard him, Deacon sounds a lot like his dad. Especially in his rendition of “Take It Easy“.
Eagles At The Sphere Kicking Off September 2024
The era of Eagles at the Sphere begins Friday, September 20. After adding shows due to fan demand, the band is scheduled to play four shows in each month between September 2024 and January 2025. With their final show scheduled for January 25. The Eagles at the Sphere was originally supposed to only last two months. But it was quickly clear after tickets went on sale that the band would need to add shows.
And even though tickets for Eagles at the Sphere keep selling out, the Eagles implied in a press release that they will continue to add shows as much as necessary. Ultimate Classic Rock reported that the band’s exact words were that they “will perform as many shows in each market as their audience demands”. So if you are having a hard time finding tickets for the Eagles at the Sphere, keep checking back and hope the band follows through with their promise.
