Second Rowan Ear Piercing Studio Location In Southern Nevada Opens
A new kind of ear piercing studio has made its way from the eastern states to Nevada. Rowan ear piercing studio is a different kind of business than what Nevada residents are used to. And it might just be the thing we didn’t know we needed. And now Rowan has just opened their second location in the Silver State.
When it comes to ear piercing in Las Vegas, you pretty much had the same two options everywhere you went. You either got a tattoo parlor or mall shop with a small chair in the back and a young girl with a piercing gun. Or a doctor’s office that’s abundant in sterility but low on the fun factor. For many people, an ear piercing is a time of celebration. Fun should be part of the deal. But that doesn’t mean safety needs to be optional.
What Makes Rowan Ear Piercing Studio Different
Louisa Serene Schneider, the founder of Rowan, is a mom who was looking for that perfect hybrid of celebratory and safe. Not finding one for her own kids’ ear-piercing needs, the entrepreneur decided to start one. The result was a place that anyone can go to get their ears pierced where they feel safe but also have fun. The way ear piercing should be!
Rowan only employs licensed nurses to do the ear piercing. Because piercing is a medical procedure, licensed nurses can ensure that it is done safely and that after care is properly administered. This level of care is especially important for young ones who are getting their ears done for the first time. It’s already an anxiety-inducing procedure that could be made much worse if done incorrectly.
Rowan nurses don’t use piercing guns. They offer needle piercings and piercings by a special hand pressurized device. Which are fully controlled by the nurses so there’s no accidental “oops” moments to scar our kiddos. And it’s not just the services at Rowan that get that special attention to detail. It’s the products too. Rowan only uses hypoallergenic premium metals in their jewelry. No cheap metals that can cause allergic reactions.
And because Schneider is a mom, she’s also aware of the importance of making these products and services affordable. Rowan ear piercing studios have a range of prices for their jewelry. With some pieces, like their Mini Birthstone CZ Stud, starting as low as $19.
Rowan now has two locations in Southern Nevada. The first at the District in Green Valley Ranch, open Monday through Saturday from a10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sundays 12 – 6 p.m. And their newest location at Downtown Summerlin. Open Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays 12 6 p.m.
