‘Miracle Flights’ Vegas Wine Walk Helping Kids In Need
When a child is ill, there’s usually a doctor close by that their family can take them to. But sometimes children need medical care not available in their local communities. Sometimes getting that care can mean the difference between life and death. So what happens when a child has to travel to get to that specialized care? Oftentimes it means huge sacrifices for the family.
Miracle Flights, a Las Vegas nonprofit, has been helping such families since 1985. The organization’s belief is that every child deserves to be healthy, regardless of their ailment, financial status, or distance from the care they need. Miracle Flights provides free commercial flights to children who are in need of life-saving medical care that isn’t available in their local communities. And they are hosting a Vegas wine walk to help these kids in need.
Miracle Flights Las Vegas Wine Walk
Miracle Flights has announced its inaugural “Wine Flights,” a holiday-themed Vegas wine walk at Downtown Summerlin. On Saturday, Nov. 23, wine-lovers are invited to take part in seven tasting stations scattered throughout Downtown Summerlin. Stations will offer red, white or sparkling wine varietal options for guests to sample. The event will be from 5-8 p.m. with check-in beginning at the Santa Chalet in front of Macy’s.
Tickets are $50 each, and sponsorships are available. Funds will go directly to the Miracle Flights organization. But that’s not the only way that visitors can help these kids in need. Decorations for the Vegas wine walk will include Miracle Flights’ giant inspirational illuminated displays. With messages like “love”, “joy”, “hope”, “peace” and more that embody the mission of Miracle Flights organization.
The illuminated displays against the night sky and Downtown Summerlin backdrop will make for a perfect Instagram photo for visitors to post. And a QR code included will inspire others to give to the organization so more children in need can get the medical care they deserve.
Tickets are limited so getting them early is recommended.
