Vegas Attorney Giving Away 500 Free Turkey Dinners
Las Vegas attorney Paul Powell is back this year giving away free turkey dinners for local residents. In partnership with two Southern Nevada nonprofits, the giveaway is part of Paul Powell’s nonprofit, Paul Pays It Forward.
Details About How To Get Those Free Turkey Dinners
The free turkey dinners will be given out on Saturday, November 23 at the Bill and Lillie Heinrich YMCA in Las Vegas. Located at 4141 Meadows Lane, across from Meadows Mall near the I-95 South. The giveaway will begin at noon and go until 2 p.m. or while supplies last.
Paul Pays It Forward is partnering with two other local nonprofits, the Just One Project and YMCA of Southern Nevada. The Just One Project is a local organization whose mission is to increase access to food, resources, and supportive services for those in need in the community. The YMCA of Southern Nevada is dedicated to meeting the needs of families in the community through programs and resources available at their four locations across the valley.
This year, the free turkey dinners at Paul Powell’s Thanksgiving Giveaway will be in a walk-up style. Which will open up the opportunity to receive to those who don’t have cars to drive through. Each family who arrives at the event will receive a wristband that is required to pick up the free turkey dinners. Only one full dinner will be provided per family on a first come, first served basis.
Besides the free turkey dinners, Paul Powell’s Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway will also have games for the kids. As well as hot chocolate for those in line to stay warm. The annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway is just one of many events the Paul Powell Law Firm participates in through the Paul Pays It Forward nonprofit. Besides community events, the nonprofit also strives to donate a portion of each settlement to a different local charity in Southern Nevada.
