Boys & Girls Club In Las Vegas Offering Winter Break Camp For Kids
If you’re looking for something for your kids to do during their winter break, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada is offering a solution. The nonprofit organization is known for their after school programs that both educate and entertain. They focus on three main impact areas – Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles and Good Character & Leadership.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada is offering a one week winter camp from December 19 through December 23. The Winter Break Camp will promote the organization’s mission of helping kids reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. At the same time, the club will offer a ton of fun options for kids out of school in the Clark County School District.
The camp will offer themed days and activities designed to give kids a well balanced week of enjoyment and keeping their minds sharp. Activities will include performing arts, sports, recreation and STEM projects. Breakfast and lunch will be served at select clubs. And there are 13 Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada in the Las Vegas valley. Camp will last Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The cost of the Winter Break Camp for current members of the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada is $80 for the week. For those new to the clubs, the cost of the camp as well as the 2022 membership fee will be waived. This gives potential new members the chance to see what the clubs are about before committing to membership. Financial help is available for those who need it.
Serving nearly 1,500 youth each day between the ages of 6-18, the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada provide a safe, supportive place for kids to go and offer them life-changing experiences. Parents can register for the Winter Break Camp at bgcsnv.org or by emailing membership@bgcsnv.org.
