Group Therapy: Does The Bro Code Still Exist
You’ve heard stories about it and you’ve heard all the rumors, but this morning’s group therapy wanted to know if the “Bro” code still exists! That was the topic of conversation this morning on The Mike & Carla Morning Show.
A guy emailed the show to let us know that he was truly in a pickle. He and his wife are good friends with another couple in the cul de sac. Their friend’s wife has suspected her husband of cheating and now wants answers.
As it turns out, she has teamed up with the wife of the guy who wrote in and together will face him looking for answers. Here’s the deal, the guy knows the other guy is cheating because he has seen his neighbor out with the “other” woman!
Group Therapy: Does The Bro Code Still Exist
Now if you’re not aware, there are guidelines to the “Bro” code according to an article by Substance! You read through it and it’s pretty strict. One being your word is your honor!
So, with that in mind, what does this guy do? Does it keep the honor of the “bro” code? Or does he tell his wife and the wife of the friend that the guy is cheating? He seemingly is in trouble no matter what right?
Well, a couple of people thought the guy should just tell the truth. He has nothing to lose, except the friendship…and how close are they anyway.
Some thought he should go to guy, tell him what’s going on. Give him a couple of days to come clean…if not, then he’s spilling the beans.
On the other hand, a few thought the one couple should just mind their own business. Don’t allow the other couple to bring their drama into their lives.
Take a couple of minutes, listen to the segment and think about what you would tell this guy!
